What is Mundoswap?
Mundoswap is a community-driven platform where you can share Spanish books you’ve already read and find new stories.
It started with a simple problem: living abroad often makes it difficult to find books in Spanish — while at the same time not knowing what to do with all those books you’ve already finished.
Instead of letting them sit on a shelf, Mundoswap makes it easy to share and discover new books — giving them a second life by passing them from reader to reader.
But it’s not just about books. Living in a new country can sometimes feel isolating. Mundoswap brings people together through a shared language and a love for reading.
So you can discover new stories, meet new people, and feel more connected.

A few things you might be wondering
Can I buy or sell books on Mundoswap?
No — Mundoswap isn’t a marketplace. It’s about sharing books, not selling them.
Do I have to exchange book for book?
Not necessarily — Mundoswap is based on sharing, not strict one-to-one exchanges. You might give a book today and not find one you want to read until another day. The idea is to keep books in circulation.
Will I get my book back?
Mundoswap’s philosophy is that books keep moving from reader to reader, so their stories can continue beyond the person who first owned them.
But if you’d like to read your book again, our app lets you see who currently has it. You can simply request it when it becomes available. That way, books keep circulating while you can still find your way back to them.
How do I exchange a book?
You can exchange books at our events, face-to-face, or by post.
What should I do with the book once I finish reading it? Do I have to return it?
Yes — once you finish a book, you’re expected to put it back into circulation so someone else can enjoy it too.
Do I need to be a native Spanish speaker?
No — anyone interested in Spanish books and culture is welcome to join the community.
